Living for Christ!
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
I have read this verse many times and it never really connected until today. I have been striving to be more like Christ everyday in my daily walk. Some days I do really good, other days I only do mediocre. Then it donned on me, duh! I don't have to just try to be more like Christ, I just need to let Him work in me without any thought on my part. When I submit to His authority and let Him be Lord of my life then I am doing just what God has intended for me. Then I truly become more like Christ.
How thankful I am to Christ Jesus our Lord for considering me trustworthy and appointing me to serve Him. 1 Timothy 1:12
Serving God in no simple matter nor is it an easy task, one must be totally committed and be ready to bear the cross He has set out for us. In good times and in times of despair we honor and obey God. We praise Him in the good times for all of His favor He shows on us. We praise Him in the times of despair because we know that He is preparing us for a mighty work for the Kingdom. We praise Him continually!
I consider it a great honor and privilege that God chooses to use me in any way He desires. This shows God's faith in us that we are truly His disciples. Where God guides, God provides! I will follow God anywhere,,, anywhere! It is only when I step out of my comfort zone and let God work in me that He gets the glory and not me.
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Psalm 8:1
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. Romans 11:36
Glorify our Father who has made us and provided for us in ways we could never imagine. Sing songs of praise and glory to God, thanking Him daily for His mighty grace He shows on us. What an awesome God we serve!
Heavenly Father, we glorify your holy name, we sing praises to you for the awesomeness of your name, we honor and obey you. Thank you that you find us worthy to be used by you. Father helps us to be more obedient to you, give us the wisdom to discern your way, and the courage to be bold for you. We thank you for calling us to be one of your children, we commit to be the child you desire and we will humbly submit to your authority and discipline. In Jesus Christ name we pray.........amen
