Discouraged?
We need not be discouraged in our walk with the Lord, Jesus told us there would be trouble in this world. Fear not, Jesus has overcome the world!
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
Take heart and trust in the Lord, it is when we have faith and a personal relationship with God that we can overcome adversities in this world. There is nothing on this earth that can take away our faith and trust in God, "NOTHING".
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. James 5:13
Are you singing songs of praise or on your knees in prayer? Either way we are bringing glory to God for His awesome love He has for all of us. The key is to keep focused on The Father. When adversity comes our way, don't give satan the chance to beat us down, know that God has a plan for us and that all things will work out for the good of God. Sometimes we walk in the desert and sometimes we walk in the rose garden. I thank God that I am able to walk anywhere with Him. I thank God that when I am walking in the desert I know that He is building my character to fulfill His purpose He has set before me. I thank God that when I am walking in the rose garden He allows me time to stop and smell the beauty of His creation.
Heavenly Father, it is our prayer today that we will have the courage to look to you in all things, in good or bad situations. That we will have the wisdom to see the challenges as growing times for your eternal kingdom. That we will have the patience to wait on you and your timing. Father we thank you that you first loved us and that you are always there for us in all times and in all ways. Heavenly Father we thank you for the gift of eternal life that you have freely given us through the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ. We praise and honor you Father.........in Jesus name we pray........amen
